IDENTIFY UNDERLINING HEALTH ISSUES CONTRIBUTING TO NAIL INGROWTH.

MOST OF THE TIME CAN BE TREATED CONSERVATIVELY.

WE CAN USE A LOCAL ANAESTHETIC OR CREAM

ADDRESS WITH NONPRESCRIPTION OR PRESCRIPTION ANTIBIOTICS OR CREAMS.

REMOVE OFFENDING NAIL BOARDER CAUSING THE SYMPTOMS.

SURGICAL TREATMENT INCLUDES AVULSION (TEMPORARY REMOVAL) OF THE NAIL.

MATRIXECTOMY (PERMANENT REMOVAL) OF PART OF THE NAIL UNDER LOCAL ANAESTHETIC.
